About the Emporium

This is no ordinary online shop, this is the Emporium. 

Imagine wandering down the cobblestones of a town where time isn’t so harsh. You step down a quaint alley and into an open shop door. It smells like old books, coffee, cinnamon sticks, and lavender soap. On every shelf is something unique. Everyone is greeted with warmth and personal attention, and a cat in a worn velvet chair purrs when it sees you. I want this shop to be like that. 

Our items are handmade, vintage, bespoke, or one of a kind, and they are all unique. You won’t find these treasures on Amazon, and nothing here had its origin in a factory half a world away.  Human hands crafted our inventory. We don’t have drop shipping, print on demand,  warehouses or distribution networks.  We have a studio,  fabric, paper, artsy friends, and lots of coffee.  

Everything you find here is stocked locally in the studio, and it is packaged with love, care, beautiful tissue paper, a special sticker, and an extra goodie as a thank you for shopping at a studio instead of a warehouse. A person will answer your email questions, and everything is refundable and returnable, no questions asked. We can giftwrap (we LOVE to giftwrap), include special gift notes, and ship to you or to your friends and family.

Not only do we want you to shop handmade, we want you to make handmade. Too often these days our creative souls are ignored. Spark that joy, make something with your hands! We don’t just  sell bookmarks, coasters, potholders and ornaments, we encourage you to make them too with our craft kits and artsy ideas downloads.  

We only ship internationally by invitation. If you are outside of the US, feel free to send us an email and we will work with you to get the best shipping. We do ship to APO addresses, and we always ship priority mail when sending items to any APO. Bulky items can be picked up locally by appointment in Southeastern CT.
