Antique French Book - Letters to Voltair

Another beautiful find at a bookseller along the Seine river in Paris.  This is a copy of Lettres De Quelques Juifs Allemands et Polonois, A M. De Voltaire. Originally printed in 1776 this book is a compilation of letters sent to Voltair. It is like traveling back in time simply holding this book. The marbled paper on the inside cover is still stunning and the leather cover shows its years with grace. I believe this is a reprint, but I have found no clear evidence as to when it was printed. Although after some research I believe it is at least 150 years old or more. The typesetting is glorious and the smell is the best of old book scents. I cannot guarantee the authenticity of this antique book, but its beauty is unquestionable.
