Barchester Towers by Anthony Trollope (1942)

Barchester Towers by ANthoney Trollope, published by The Oxford University Press in 1942.  This lovely book, measuring approximately 4x6 is bound in blue with gold embossed letters. It's in good shape for quite an old book, and has a lovely map on the back of the front cover.  Purchased from a thrift shop in Paris.

Barchester Towers is one of the best-loved novels in Trollope's Chronicles of Barsetshire series, which captured nineteenth-century provincial England with wit, worldly wisdom and an unparalleled gift for characterization. It is the second book in the Chronicles of Barsetshire.
