This one-of-a-kind wall hanging is an original design, thoughtfully created in my studio as an exploration of texture, form, and quiet detail.
Inspired by the rich symbolism and organic beauty of the pomegranate, this piece combines both traditional and improv piecing, allowing structure and spontaneity to exist side by side. Layered fabrics and soft neutrals create a gentle backdrop for the deep, dimensional fruit forms, while subtle shifts in tone and pattern invite a closer look.
The surface is richly worked with a combination of hand and machine embroidery, free-motion quilting, and delicate metallic thread accents that catch the light and add a sense of movement across the piece. Every stitch is placed with intention, building depth and texture over time.
